Normal Ultrasound what now?
Hi, I've been having issues for 17 years now, 10 years ago I had what I'd describe as an "attack", waves of labour type pain under right rib, ended up in hospital, felt like a right fraud when it went away suddenly, felt sore for a while afterwards. Paid for a private scan and it was normal. I've managed it by avoiding certain foods but would get gastric upsets and twinges every now and then. However more recently gastric symptoms have upped, and I've had 5 attacks this year, I can only manage a few days without constant soreness/fullness under right rib, sometimes fluttering. Referred pain in shoulder blade, vomitting, metallic reflux etc. Had ultrasound and bloods all normal, ultrasound was painful ..discussing with doc next week. But honestly I've missed 2 days work already for this and I'm slightly over weight but even the slightest weight loss sets it off, I've stopped caffiene, smoking anything enjoyable...it sucks...can they just leave me like this?
