Those who have automations based on the weather how'd ya do it?

Found a project to make a sprinkler controller from an esp32 relay board. Built that and have it running but looking to get a bit more advanced. Wanting to check if theres rain forecasted in the next 8 hours if no water if yes don't water. I also have a seeed studio soil sensor on the way for those added features
