Hey, i need some Help. This Lilac(?) is growing through my whole garden. It has grown onto my Chestnut tree and i have already Cut the stem on the ground.

As you can See in the picture, i also Made some Cuts to damage the plant. Also on the roots i could See in the ground. Is that enough?

What else can I do to specificaly only kill that one plant? I don't want to use chemicals because i wan't to have a lot of Insects in the Garden.

(But only a few plants are growing beneath the Lilac, so it needs to go)
