Found this monitor in my parents garage from the old owner of the house and I was curious to hooking it up to my PC for some retro gaming or anime but i want to see if it works frist before buying a dac. I tried to quickly hook it up to my work pc since that was the only pc I know that has a VGA (HD15) using an adapter to go from the Apple DB15. The computer seems to pick it up and I can change the resolution but the monitor doesn't want to fully turn on, just sits in idle. Apologies im an amateur to pc/apple monitors, any help would be much appreciated. Also the Mac pictured next to it doesn't fully boot and only has VGA and DVI outputs.
