Snow Crush with Gen 3

Snow Crush with Gen 3

Just a leveling kit and 295 70 18 Wildpeak AT3s and it crushed the snow from main roads to side roads in neighborhood that weren’t plowed yet.

20” vs 18” Pros vs Cons

What would work best? Swapping the OEM 20” Tires and Rims in my 1794 Truck with my existing 18” method wheels with my Falken Wildpeak on 295 70 AT3s on my lease return.

Or just buying new 35” Wildpeak AT4s on ORM rims. I see most off roading trucks have 17” or 18” rims. My existing Gen 3 SR5 TRD OR with leveling kit and these tires has been incredible in snow, dirt, and sand for the occasional off roading I do a few times year and 2-3 mountain trips.

1794 Interior of New Ride

Every Tundra (Gen 1 Limited, Gen 2 Platinum, and Gen 3 SR5 TRD)and 4Runner I bought has always had black leather (one exception of dark gray softex with my SR5 Gen 3) but decided to do a 1794 TRD OR with the saddle tan color and it looks pretty solid. Looks amazing in person. Much more luxurious feel to it.

I was torn on the panoramic sunroof just by pictures alone, however in person it lets in a lot of light and if I roll back window down it’s a lot of light inside and air inside.

1794 with Factory 3” Lift

Bought the new 1794 TRD Off Road with 20” tires with a 3” factory lift suspension package (has electric running boards). Turning in my lease of a 2023 SR5 TRD Off Road with leveling kit, rhino running boards, and 18 method wheels on 295 70 18 Wildpeak AT3s.

Considering the chrome delete and swapping tires before I return the lease in a month.

It seems I can put 35” on my old 18” method wheels on new truck but seems the 37” will be an issue.

Is it better for occasional off roader in desert/beach and a few times a year winter driving in snow to have 18” with more sidewalls.
