So last year I got a contract job that was supposed to last six months. It was a hybrid role. I always submitted my stuff on time and got along with pretty much everybody. For some reason got paired with somebody who got their job through their girlfriend who used to work there. Not only that he continuously hit on me, he nearly attempted to stab me and made my life very difficult at this company. And then, for some reason, the person who hired me turned against me as well. Anyways, I worked seven months at the six month contract job. They provided no benefits. No lunch stipend like it was promised in the contract. No laptop, which is also promised in the contract. And the people who were shaking my hands when I met them suddenly turned on me.
Fast forward to today, they’re looking to hire somebody for the senior version of the same job that I did. I applied, and got immediately denied.
Now, I’m not entirely sure what I did wrong. I acted within the company policy. I showed up earlier than everybody else. Submitted my work on time. Actually went above and beyond. And yet somehow they kept the person who was on my team who was not doing their work 90% of the time and requesting my help to finish his work. It’s been over three months now and I’m struggling to find Job. Wtf much.

I was forced into purchasing a property (long story) little over a year ago, and have been carrying the financial burden of paying for it. I’ve been since laid off about 3 months ago, and have not heard back from other jobs yet. I’ve pretty much spent a little bit of money I saved, and am looking for other potential routes.
For little bit of context, my mother forced me into purchasing a property with loads of threats and has already physically assaulted me and my dog on my property. I’ve already attempted to kick her out, but she refused to leave, going as far making a copy of the key. But it’s no longer sustainable for me. I’m beyond stressed and my only solution for this is to rent out the property. But that still doesn’t solve the issue of my living situation, as I need some place to live and most likely pay rent myself.
I feel like there are other potential ways to go about it, but I’m not certain. What would be other routes?

This is my first time handling puppy heat on my own. I wasn’t as involved in the last puppies upbringing, especially during her heat. I did not realize how emotional they get.
Also she has been experiencing upset stomach few times, on and off. Is that common? Or cause for concern. How do I make her more comfortable? She started eating normal again. There was brief moment she stopped eating her kibble, but would go for treats. Sleeps normal, with rare occurrence of late night upset stomach. Seems overall chipper.
I’ve been keeping her on the leash for past couple of days during our morning walks (she usually runs around and plays with other pups) for her safety.
I mean besides upset stomach she hasn’t changed in attitude, but I feel like I should be doing more.
We hadn’t done doggy diapers with previous pup, but got some just in case, since my golden and I live in apartment building and she has access to public park.
And my ex would handle dog walking stuff, and I feel like I’m not equipped to protect my dog from male dogs if necessary. We already experienced someone’s unleashed male dog running up to us when I first got her. I’m sure me stressing out is not helping her though. Any tips are appreciated.
