Someone informed me yesterday that if you type in her name and ‘tarantula,’ this comes up. Chalupa wants to thank all of you for your support and love. We are both entirely gobsmacked by this. Note Sir Ping of Pong has been designated a robotic vacuum, haha!

Hi, all. I just discovered that others are taking Chalupa’s videos and posting them on other platforms to make money off of them. I want to make it clear that I have never done this myself, despite many, many others suggesting that I post her on TikTok or YouTube, make t-shirts, write a book, etc. I keep her here as a wholesome thing we can all enjoy without monetary ambitions behind it. I ONLY video Chalupa doing her own thing and never try to ‘make’ her do something just to get a good shot. For instance, if she rolls Sir Ping into a corner and doesn’t touch him for weeks, I don’t take the ball and place it near her so she’ll inevitably roll it away. Taking these videos and adding music to them to post to a sizable following is not cool when I’m specifically not trying to profit off of her. Not sure what to do other than vent. Please keep in mind that I’m a 49-year-old man with limited experience in this type of thing. Very disheartening, when I’ve put in the work and others are profiting off of OUR queen. : /
