Empress
What in your opinion does the empress mean when you pull her in a reading? Does that meaning change depending on the cards that surround her?
I also find I am possibly rigid in terms of what each card means and that meaning stays and is not fluid.
For example My understanding of the empress, and please correct me if I am wrong, is that she is the kind, compassionate, nurturing woman, easy flowing, someone who stays within her power, does not chase, lets people come to her, pregnancy ( birth of new ideas), one who rules her own world, mother.
My question is, does the meaning of the cards change/ stay depending on the surrounding cards.
For example: hypothetically if a did a reading on how a person perceives me currently, and pulled empress and say page of swords or vice versa would the meaning change depending on which card came first and does the overall meaning for each card stay or change.
I’m sorry if it doesn’t make sense, I am learning and trying to understand how fluid the cards can be and if the meanings should change and be rigid.
