Who gets it? I can’t stop staring at this tourbillon

This arrived today, and I’ve probably spent more time watching the movement than actually checking the time.

There’s something oddly satisfying about seeing all the tiny parts working together.

The warm gold tone and black strap make it feel classic, but the constantly moving dial keeps pulling my attention back.

Please tell me I’m not the only one who does this with a new watch.

Debate: Is this full-pavé Piaget pure elegance or simply too much?

A watch like this doesn’t whisper.

Every surface catches the light, yet the slim rectangular case keeps it feeling surprisingly refined.

Some people will call it over the top.

Others will see it as high jewelry that happens to tell time.

Personally, I think pieces like this prove that understated isn’t the only form of luxury.
