Raw Basil

I’m posting this in hope it might help a fellow sufferer.

I’m in a bad flare right now, as in, everything I eat is causing pain, cramping, bloating and gas.

I grow a big barrel of basil all summer and I’ve found that eating about 10 big leaves of raw basil sometimes helps with digestion and pain after meals.

Looked it up, and heck yes! It’s considered probiotic.

Chocolate

Why has it gotten so expensive? Chocolate chips (12 oz bag) used to be $1.79-$2.29 and now I’m lucky if I can find them for under $5.00 a bag. Don’t get me started on chocolate candy bars.

Anyone have a cheaper and an acceptable substitute?
