So I'm having surgery July 10th, and I have to take my son to TN a week after, and I was trying to tie in my summer vacation with my 3 sons (16, 17, 21).

If I have a driver (21 year old) is this a completely unreasonable trip? Will I be miserable?

I'm going to attempt to get the freedom leg brace before the trip- but if not will have critches and knee scooter.

I"m fairly athletic and have had no pain with the injury and am no stranger to surgery (2 acl and rotator cuff)m, but realize the non weigt bearing is a different animal.

Is it swelling a have to worry about or just non weight bearing?
