Forming a group

I'm considering trying to start a group in my town that meets every other week or so. I live in a town of about 75,000 people. I wasn't thinking of anything too formal. Like a standing time in a local park with an open invitation to anyone who wants to join.

I thought I would make it open to all flow arts. My idea being that would encourage more participation.

Has anyone done something like this before and can you give me any tips on things to look out for I may be missing or things that could help.

I live in a bit of a juggling desert. The closest groups I've found are an hour and a half away and two that are both about three hours away.

Juggling/Flow Arts

Does anyone know of a juggling group or flow arts group that meets in the shoals area? If not would anyone be interested in forming one?

I've recently started to get back into juggling after taking a decade or two off and am interested in joining or possibly forming a group.

Next step with clubs

I started juggling in high school almost 30 years ago. Pre YouTube. I learned cascade in clubs and balls and that was basically it. I haven't seriously juggled in the past 20 years or so. I'm starting to get back into it. I just started learning a few new patterns with balls and really enjoying getting back into it and pushing my limits.

What are some good early starter tricks and patterns for clubs?
