Shapewear suggestions?
Hi! My wedding is this August and I’m expecting my dress to come in soon for fittings.
I really love my dress! (For anyone curious, it’s a Le Spose di Gio CL-02 purchased at Mark Ingram). The only thing I’m slightly anxious about with the drop waist silhouette is making sure that my stomach area looks flattering. The second photo onward are screenshots of a video of me walking in the dress in more natural light — I don’t like how you can see the outlines of my stomach. The fabric is a thick crepe, but there’s no internal structure/corseting in the dress so there’s naturally some risk that my stomach will show through. I’m wondering if anyone has 1) recommendations for shapewear that would sit nicely and not be visible itself or 2) what to tell the seamstress when I go for alterations?
