DO NOT LIKE it here

I’m a first year student and honestly I don’t like it here. I’ve made no friends and honestly the uni life here is not what you’d expect for uni. People are so not open to becoming friends they’re content with their own personal friends and i understand, honestly I do. I wish I could transfer to some where that’s much open cause I don’t see myself being happy here for another 2 years . People are nice tho . I haven’t met a rude person . Well some people just don’t have outside training. But otherwise overall would rate my experience here 1/10 so far

Language barrier with professors

I BY NO MEANS AM TRYING TO MAKE A R@ci$t post But…… I’m now going into T2 as a first year and during T1 i completely stopped going for lectures SOLEY BECAUSE my lecture was not speaking clear English. AT ALL. And I was not the only one complaining. And people were too scared to bring up that point because they didn’t want to be labeled as R. BUT IM PAYING THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FOR THIS EDUCATION. The least you can do is get me a lecture that speaks clearly. No hate to the lecturer he’s probably Very intelligent BUT i need to pass too . So really going into T2 I’m hoping that I have lectures that are clear . And I don’t know how to bring that up without sounding like I’m discriminating . Honestly dk what to do . It’s just Unfair to put students in these positions where they have to now look for English names when picking classes .

EOUA question

Guys. I’m a first year . So just wrote my first EOUA , I’m too scared to sound smart cause what if they fly me for using Ai or cheating (which I did not ) so some parts I made intentional errors so that they don’t think that , idk maybe I’m panicking for nothing. And also my memory is quite good so when I was studying I was using the Answer guide from past EOUA that the lecturer gave us. And I basically answered my questions the same way the lecturer did . Will I get flagged for that?? 🫩🫩🫩

24hr EOUA

I don’t quit understand how those work. It says 24hrs but it’s suggested we do them in 2 hrs. Is the 2 optional ? Or we can take asking a we deem necessary but it has to be in the 24hr period ??
