Is Bowser Junior Black?
I started watching SML in September of 2017 and stopped watching it around summer 2019. I still don’t really watch the modern videos but over the years after watching the older videos before 2017 I started to notice something. In ‘The Koopa Kids’ video uploaded in 2014, Bowser juniors mom ‘sheila Perkins’ and sister Wendy are portrayed as the stereotypical Black mother and daughter and both use AAVE (Mainly Sheila). And In ‘Bowser Juniors Clown Car’ Bowser brings out all of his old stuff he had growing up and shows Junior his yearbook and is seen with an orange Afro saying Black power. So wouldn’t that mean Logan visioned Junior and his family being black at a certain point? I know Junior is a turtle but there have been many instances where even cartoon shows indicate that characters are of a certain race or ethnicity like Darwin from The Amazing World Of Gumball for instance being black. The new puppet designs show bowser as a tatted up white man and Junior is a redhead. So was either of those things I said at the top even canon to begin with? Let me know what you guys think in the replies. Edit: Btw this isn’t meant to sound bad it’s just something I’m genuinely interested in knowing about. Edit 2: Some of you in the comments are saying that Junior has done and said things to indicate that he’s white and that In one video Bowser says that he wished he adopted a girl but I feel like with what I said, It’s still kinda interesting to think about.
