Hi! I'm considering a job at a school in Cyprus. They have asked me for salary Expectations. Usually, private schools publish salary scales, but this one doesn't, so I am in the dark.

I looked up public school salaries for teachers with +15 years experience and was pleasantly surprised (I thought salaries would be similar to Greece but teachers seem to be paid properly in Cyprus- awesome!).

The problem is, I don't know how well public school salaries translate to private/international school salaries. Does anyone have any information on this?

Edit: people have told me that private schools don't compare, OK, fine. What should a teacher/admin expect in private schools?

I'm looking at a SLT position at a new school in Cyprus (Greek side).

They have no published pay scale yet but they clearly have cash.

They're asking (very early) for salary Expectations but I have no idea of the market. Anyone in the know? The salary spreadsheet doesn't help.

Classroom teacher salary would be great, SLT would be better.
