I was walking my puppy down an ally and I saw a pitbull off leash ahead. I figured since I was in a relatively busy place the pitbull must be chill, but just in case I picked up the puppy.
As we walked past, the pitbull charged full speed, snarling and barking. It was terrifying. It was a big pit bull.
The puppy instantly lost its mind in my arms.
I threw a rear teep that caught the dog between the neck and the shoulder and folded it like a lawn chair. It was smooth and I think thanks to my training I had a very solid foundation so the impact didn't stagger me at all, it just blasted the dog.
It hit the asphalt with a slap then bounced up and I immediately lunged toward it, barking, and it ran off.
If I hadn't trained, there's no way I would have done that. I can't even believe I landed it because the freaking dog was running full speed at me. But, it worked. It worked really well.
