Anyone else get racist comments when wearing a shiesty mask/balaclava?
I don’t understand why but it’s happened at least four times now where I’ll be putting it on or already have it on and I get some insane comments from random people or “friend of a friend” who I happen to be riding with says some stupid shit making fun of me and being very racist about it. Not that it should matter but I’m white and I live in the Southeastern US so it’s not uncommon for people to be racist here but why on earth would my mask make such comments? I wear it for multiple reasons like helping with wind noise or keeping my ear bud in or keeping the sun/wind off my neck. Plus when it’s colder it keeps my face warm. I also like the way it looks but lately I find myself putting it on then putting my helmet on as soon as possible to keep people from saying shit to me. I find it ridiculous that it’s okay for people to wear them when they go hunting around here but I get shit on for wearing it under my helmet. Just wondering if anyone else experienced this before and what are some things I can say to get them to piss off and look stupid. Frustrating as hell.
