Every time I go to the kitchen to get my gar some silversides, he starts snapping at the water surface when I walk back in the room. He only ever does this when I come back with his food, not when I walk in with other things. It doesn’t matter what time I feed him either.

I’m kinda amazed that he’s that smart and can see that well outside the glass. Does anyone else’s fish do this?
