I’m trying to track down a compilation CD I used to listen to back in the late 80s / early 90s in France. Here’s what I remember:
• It was a compilation album (not a single artist)
• The tracklist was made up of 1960s rock songs, all connected to the Vietnam War era — protest songs, counterculture rock, that kind of vibe
• It was released and sold in France during the late 80s or early 90s, so possibly a French or European edition
• It might have been tied to a movie or TV series soundtrack from that period (Good Morning Vietnam, Tour of Duty, Platoon…), but I’m not sure
Unfortunately I don’t remember the exact title, the cover art, or specific tracks — just the overall theme and the era I listened to it.
