I’m sure this group gets a lot of these videos but here’s another one just in case 😬

Thank God I found a free 40gal tank on Facebook. They love the deeper burrowing capability and have been super active since changing their set up. I built a platform from cardboard for now and taped their water bottle to the glass until I can get a standing one. I’m experiencing an economic hardship and had to do this on a very tight budget. The one gerbil who lost a good amount of hair on her face from sore nose/bar chewing is now healing and looking a lot better❤️‍🩹 Thank you to the person who recommended a tank, I really had no idea. I’m working on getting them some sand to do sand baths in a separate enclosure. When I can afford a bigger tank I hope to build some better platforms with more levels and things for them to hide in/climb. I’m going to get them more chew toys soon, I know cardboard isn’t ideal but it’s temporary until I get paid. Any pro tips would be appreciated! I would have gone deeper with the bedding but this was all I had right now.
