How many people travel with a laptop or tablet?

I'm curious I actually don't even own either. I do everything on my phone and, on the rear occasion I need a laptop for something.

Iceland solo

I have a few questions for those who have already visited Iceland:

- Is it safe to walk alone at night?
- Which rental car companies do you recommend?
- Since rentals are expensive plus fuel cost, is it better to book a Golden Circle tour with a group and then use a rental car for other places?
- Any hidden gems you recommend?

What’s the best meal you’ve ever had while traveling?

For me it was a real homamade food in south italy. Never tasted better italian food, even the pasta was homemade. And the coffee and capuccino in smaller towns and village. The difference is so big... like it was another universe.

What have your travels taught you about yourself and/or taught you about the world?

Things I have learned:

- The world isn't as scary as I used to think
- My safety instincts are good
- I really enjoy how relaxing it is to go where I want, do whatever I want, or do nothing at all, while traveling solo

Any suggestions for something to collect from my travels?

I don’t want pins, magnets, or keychains. Something I’d actually use - maybe like coasters but those are usually sold in sets of 4, and I don’t want to accumulate crap. Any suggestions? Also I have a small apt so space is at a premium.

Any ladies who have hiked between the towns of Cinque Terre?

I'd love to hear your experiences. I'm not so much worried about the hiking aspect, but more wondering where you thought was best to base yourself, general costs, if you felt like the experience was "worth it," etc
