If you had a choice between Vienna and Budapest which one would you choose?
I am looking at going for my birthday in September. Any recommendations are welcome.

I'm curious I actually don't even own either. I do everything on my phone and, on the rear occasion I need a laptop for something.
How did you find it there?

I have a few questions for those who have already visited Iceland:
- Is it safe to walk alone at night?
- Which rental car companies do you recommend?
- Since rentals are expensive plus fuel cost, is it better to book a Golden Circle tour with a group and then use a rental car for other places?
- Any hidden gems you recommend?
I'd love to hear any tips or routines that have worked well for you before, during, or after a long-haul flight.
What’s your experience?
What were your favourite places? Where to avoid? Where to definitely go? Where did you wish you got to but didn't?
What the money looks like, exchange rate etc. Is there an app for that?
If so share some tips on how you cared for yourself.
For me it was a real homamade food in south italy. Never tasted better italian food, even the pasta was homemade. And the coffee and capuccino in smaller towns and village. The difference is so big... like it was another universe.
Especially if you’ve never solo travelled before?
There’s so many e.g intrepid, g adventures, contiki etc how do u pick?
Can you share some of your experience?
Things I have learned:
- The world isn't as scary as I used to think
- My safety instincts are good
- I really enjoy how relaxing it is to go where I want, do whatever I want, or do nothing at all, while traveling solo
If you roll, is there a way to do it to limit wrinkling?
I don’t want pins, magnets, or keychains. Something I’d actually use - maybe like coasters but those are usually sold in sets of 4, and I don’t want to accumulate crap. Any suggestions? Also I have a small apt so space is at a premium.
I'd love to hear your experiences. I'm not so much worried about the hiking aspect, but more wondering where you thought was best to base yourself, general costs, if you felt like the experience was "worth it," etc
