I bought this bike a few months back, I’m the second owner, basically my display when I turn the bike on, it stays turned off and only if I tilt my handlebars to the left at a certain angle it will turn on and even then it won’t show me the battery percentage or the speed I’m going and it won’t let me change what mode I ride in or what level of regen I use. It only flashes the battery at 0% and says *wait* also every now and then it will turn on and actually work, showing me the battery level and etc. (as seen in the video) I tracked the wire down behind the front plate and when I move it around it turns on or off so wondering if I need to buy a new wiring harness or solder some new connections or any other ideas as to what’s happening, would be much appreciated!
As you can see in the video I have to hold a wire a certain way for it to work and even then after a while it shows a red message that says “ERROR 00” and I’m pretty sure that means lack of data being sent or like no communication between display and controller. Any help is welcome here thanks!
