HR Ghosting After Interview
Just want to share lang. We all know it’s hard to land a job nowadays, but it becomes even more frustrating when the HR is unresponsive. I had my interview during the last week of April, and I think I did well naman, maybe around 80-20, so naturally, I became hopeful.
After one week, I tried following up through email with the HR I spoke with, but there was no response. I emailed again the next day, still no response. Then the weekend came, so I followed up again on Monday, this time through text since we had already talked through a call for the interview. Still no response.
Like, how hard is it to send a message saying, “Sorry, you were not selected,” if ever I didn’t pass? I just hope some HR people can be more considerate toward applicants, especially those who consistently follow up. It also wastes people’s time because, of course, you end up hoping. I’m still trying to apply to other companies naman, but it’s honestly difficult to even land interviews these days. :(
