No wonder why The Mafia Nanny is barely liked (MAY CONTAINS SPOILERS)

Okay, so turns out, this is from the same person who had an theory that Raphael is in love with Davina....*sigh. Now, just found that floating around and just saw them beefing over this >!Emeric and Davina's scene!<

Well, first of all, they hate on a specific characters for doing something against Gavina, second, Since Emeric is in the Queer community, he is definitely an Achillean. So, i don't think every platonic touches are necessarily "obsessive" stuff.

Now, i kinda hate this type of fans because this kind of fans will tell you to "not read the story" just because you said you cannot root for the main couple but you're still a lore enjoyer. 3rd, some fans are really dramatic like no wonder why it is a misunderstood story from the cover.

This post is not targeting any specific person, it's just a rant of how people can take an wrong idea for others dramatic reactions

As far as I've read, the romance part felt misplaced in the Mafia Nanny.

The power imbalance trope isn't the core issue I think, it's just how the romance has started, how it's developed and character's logic??? Just hear me out.

first of all it was very rushed pacing for a standard slow-burn and second one, well, I have to explain in a long way. The missing wife

The marriage between Gabriel and Emmaline was forced, arranged-whatever you want to call it. Still, it feels unfair or "selfish" (coming from Gabriel) because, whether his wife is actually dead or not, there isn't enough proof. A bloody ring isn't enough. So yeah, we might see Davina discovering that, but It still feels like that classic Y/N trope where the CEO cheats on his fiancée or makes out with the Y/N figure right on his wife's grave.

despite it being a "loveless" marriage, I still think Gabriel should have shown at least a little bit of hesitation instead of doing "this" right in the background. Also, it feels weird that he instantly falls in love just because the FMC saved his son. Like, Of course she would it's her damn job as a nanny. There's no reason to fall in love so badly over that,

especially when his late wife spent four years in "viper's nest", encouraging their son to have hobbies and staying by his side—despite being timid instead of badass with combatskill stuff. Emmaline stayed there for their son for four straight years; otherwise, she would have tried escaping much sooner.

Okay, I know he cared for Emmaline and all, but you can't expect me not to roll my eyes at him moving on so fast just because it was an arranged marriage.

Also, I think he either just lusted over Davina or is magically attached to her "badass-ness" Sometimes it feels like, "While my wife is gone, we should keep being dramatic," especially when the kid hasn't even fully coped with his grief yet.

Anyways, I'm not saying the story and the plot is bad and I'm not criticising it—I respect Gavina shippers and the fans and ngl the story itself is interesting and quite entertaining to read and I'm still reading it for ongoing to see what happens to the don or the rest of the mystery

That's my take on it's romance. Now, i'll just re-read the whole, so i could just say my opinion on the whole series ( i forgot what happened on each) so, any takes on this webtoon and it's romance??

Okay now, give me an honest review on the series so far

I feel like The Mafia Nanny series is less talked about and more hyped on the webtoon, I was just curious about unpopular opinions on the series that some people has, but it will end up some fans attacking you without getting ur point. I often don't see any recommendations of this that's why I'm wondering what people actually think of it.
