To the people who are critizing Ishan kishan for his gestures to Chepauk Crowd.

Just imagine being a player focused on chasing a score while an entire crowd is cheering for your failure or booing. At some point, it’s understandable that the pressure and emotions could overwhelm someone. In moments like that, frustration or anger can naturally come out.

16 or even 18 points doesn't guarantee Playoff chances.

As the IPL heats up, with all the top teams performing well and facing more matches against teams at the bottom of the table, there is a high chance that 5 teams could end up with 18 points each. In that case, even a team with 9 wins and 18 points could fail to qualify for the playoffs. Please, don't ask me why SRH is not in the top 2.

As a road is being used as a pitch for SRH vs PBKS. It's unlikely that SRH is going with 2 spinners. SRH is still short on a new ball bowler. Hopefully, SRH wins the toss, decides to bowl, and restricts PBKS to under 250.

A Wild Trade Idea: Should KKR Go All-In for Abhishek Sharma?

Here is a wild trade idea: What if KKR management convinced SRK to personally call Abhishek Sharma and persuade him to make the move to Kolkata?

I think we should even consider offering him the captaincy. Abhishek is an elite communicator who brings a fantastic, joyous energy to the dressing room. While Rinku Singh has that same infectious vibe, his natural introversion can sometimes be a hurdle in a long-term leadership role. Rinku often leans on humor and sarcasm, which is great for team bonding but might not always translate as effectively when dealing with a global brand's obligations—like managing international media or building deep rapport with the foreign coaching staff. Abhishek, on the other hand, is articulate, media-savvy, and fits that "international ambassador" mold perfectly.

Just imagine the strategic shift this creates. Pairing him at the top with Finn Allen would give us a formidable opening duo, essentially recreating that "Travishek" chaos he’s mastered with Travis Head. With Cameron Green solidifying the number three spot and a specialized spin-basher at four, the top order becomes incredibly aggressive. I’d also look at the wicketkeeping slot; while Raghuvanshi is talented, he doesn't always feel like a natural fit for the high-octane modern T20 game. I’d place my bet on Tejasvi Singh Dahiya, whose explosive style and glovework seem perfect for this era.

This structure allows Rinku to excel in his most dangerous role—anchoring the middle and finishing games at five—with Ramandeep Singh at six. The lower order then flows naturally into our versatile bowling core. Anukul Roy provides the all-round balance at seven, followed by the legends Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy, with the pace of Kartik Tyagi and a returning Harshit Rana in 2027. With a lineup this deep, we could use the Impact Player rule as a tactical weapon rather than a necessity.

So, Knight fans, what do you think? Would you take this trade, or is it a bit too "out there" for the current squad?

After today’s loss, I have a question: if SRH in Pat Cummins’ captaincy can ever defend a total less than 200 (or 180)? It has not happened before, and I don’t think it will happen in the future. I mean, any captain can defend if the score is 230+ but what will Cummins’ captaincy add to the team? Again, I’m not bringing Ishan’s captaincy here. We can’t win playoffs anytime if SRH don’t know how to defend scores less than 200 or 180.
