My First Setup
Just got this going. Still working on the look, give me your thoughts/feedback.
Mac1900 - Got at an estate sale for $250 with the record player. Think it needs a thorough cleaning/deox. I’ve got it sounding great, but the slightest touch to the Mode Selector buttons will cause it to fail completely. Takes me about 30 minutes of careful juggling before it pops back online. For now I’m not touching it. Can I clean it myself or should I pay the $200 or whatever to have it professionally done.
Toshiba SR-451 - also from the sale. Needed a new belt but works perfectly otherwise. Cool little player and I dig the look.
KEF 103/4 - Got these off FB marketplace for $400 which I felt like was fair. Little snagging on the front but otherwise look and sound great.
I have the speakers centered to the room and slightly angled in. They’re a little over a foot from the room.
Still looking for a bluetooth audio device. Saw the Wiim pro plus unboxed on fb marketplace yesterday and kinda wish I grabbed it.
