How to fix or replace asse 1019 spigot that won't stop dripping
This won't stop dripping when the valve is closed. Cannot figure out how to pull out the stem to try to replace what I'm guessing is a bad gasket/washer at the end of it. There's no packing nut(?) to unscrew on the front and I pulled it out as far as I felt comfortable with, but it feels like it's tugging on the pipe now and it's just barely too far in to get a grip on where I think I need to so that I can remove the whole assembly. Do I need to cut into my garage wall to do this, or is there a magic trick that I'm missing?
