NSW Jury Summons
Hey guys, just curious if this is luck or these summons in NSW are just taking the piss.
I moved from QLD a few years ago, only ever had 1 jury summons my entire life there.
This year alone I have been summoned in February, April and May. I was able to get exemption in March as I was back in QLD for March and April. When I got back from QLD in April yet another summons awaited me, got a work exemption for that one.
So I'm curious... in NSW do they not put you back into the randomised system and instead keep calling you nearly every month each time you are excused from the previous month? Seems a bit crazy compared to my single summons in 12 years as an eligible adult in QLD to get 3 summons almost in consecutive months in a single year in NSW.......
