new high def with motion smoothing doesn’t look “hyper- real” and whoever started that rumor is trying to sell. it looks like an old soap opera and makes everything look like it was filmed the same way and not in a good way. I will change my tv setting to literally anything else as long as it doesn’t have that look. It is off putting and it isnt ever how the artists intended the filming to look. It only tolerable on reality/game show type shows. And not when it’s so much definition that its like you can see every movement of the every dust particle or at least that how it feels. And I hate it. And everyone i know hates it. I even returned a $2000 TV because I want able to get rid of that setting
