Anthology in a heavy fantasy setting, should I set lore in prologue?

I'm working on/work shopping an Anthology set in a fantasy world very different to our own. Magic, monsters, God's most of the standard flair but of course my own unique take on several of these standard fantasy tropes.

Im wondering if I should set up some of the lore of this world in the prologue? Or should I reveal it on the various story segments?

The pantheon of 13 Gods are relavent for the wider lore as well as the origin of the world and incidentally the creation of the world, possibly the humans and some of the monsters so getting this established early might help. Or it could work out to be explained in the stories.

Just not sure which is the better option

Exactly how long did it take:

Tyrannosaurus Rex

Brontosaurus Excelsus

Triceratops Horridus

Stegosaurus Stenops

Pteranodon Longiceps

Velociraptor Mongoliensis

To reach maturity? I can't imagine they would have similar rates of aging. Or even similar lifespans on average and since these are some of the most popular 'dinosaurs' (the Pteranodon gets a vip pass) I just kinda wondered how they all stacked up.

Off the top of my head I think the Rex is theorised to live up to its 30s? But I'd like to double check with others. Because that seems pretty impressive for something that big with its diet in that environment.
