My short received an acceptance to BIFF today, which I’m very excited about. We recently won best short at a regional fest out of state, and were accepted to two others. We shot locally in LA, so we had high hopes for Hollyshorts, but it requires an LA premiere, and Burbank is one week before Hollyshorts.

I have until June 7th to accept Burbank, but the notification deadline for Hollyshorts is way later in July.

Should I wait it out for Hollyshorts, or just accept Burbank? Would it be worth it to reach out to the Hollyshorts programming team to see if we’re in even in strong consideration?
