I need help choosing what to do
I don't know what to do, I'm a 8th grader going and have to have the choice to stay in my small private school or go to a public school. What makes this hard is I have a friend I really cherish at my school at the moment but he considers me more of a friend rather than a best friend, I feel that if I am able to stay another year at my school we can grow closer with the exception of having more students coming next year for high school. I want to stay to experience the new students at my private school but at the same time I want to try public school but if I do I sacrifice leaving my friend and making new friends this upcoming school year. I've struggled with making guy friends as a guy myself and he has been the only guy l've actually sustained a friendship with. If I don't join public high school freshman year I'd join sophomore but I don't want to because if I do join sophomore year there is very little students joining at the time, second there is already established friend groups so I won't be able to get into/ make friends as easily as a freshman would. What do I do?
