Advice on finding reputable Telehealth practicums in California via Rutgers MSW?
I’m starting classes in Rutgers University 100% online MSW graduate school program. I do not have the option for in-person because I have a disability where I am in a wheelchair and the logistics of getting rides for every class, navigating campus, and sitting in a class for several hours that may or may not fit me is a lot of drama I am not interested in adding to my plate. So, please refrain from judgemental comments about how superior in person programs are— I have to work with the limitations life handed me. I’m just happy I got into the program because it was my #1 top choice.
I am also located in California and since USC’s MSW program’s reputation tanked, I decided Rutger’s was a stronger choice. Plus, I cannot justify the tuition fist for USC over Rutgers.
Anyway, I would like to know if any students that have or are currently attending Rutgers University were able to get any telehealth practicums either due to preference or because of disability accommodations. Needs to be supervised by an MSW only because I plan to get licensed in multiple states including CA, NJ, and NY and they have different requirements, so it's the safest route when it comes to multi-state licensure.
If so, any places you would recommend?
