A quick question regarding the upcoming placement season!
I didn't secure an on-campus internship this time around, but I did manage to land an off-campus startup gig. My DSA and core CS fundamentals are solid, and I have a good grasp of AI/ML. Because of this, almost all the projects on my current resume are heavily AI/ML-focused.
Here is my main dilemma: To target general SWE roles effectively, do you guys think I should pick up Web Dev right now just to build some purely software-based projects? Or is it a better strategy to double down on my AI/ML skills and polish my DSA/Core CS, even if it means having zero web dev on my resume?
If you think I should learn Web Dev given the short time before placements kick off, what is the fastest way to learn the bare essentials? Are there any specific crash courses, YouTube channels, or roadmaps you'd recommend to get up to speed quickly without getting stuck in tutorial hell?
