Small update for the Vietnamese T-1 amphibious light tank, it appeared on a magazine

not any leak or something, it's technically public now, even if no one seems to write news articles or make video about it

the PT-76 mainly has been having a lot of mismatched capabilities for its role: being used like a light tank despite poor land mobility (it's only good in the water), and being used as a recon vehicle despite having very few relevant optics for the role (so it was mainly relegated to ferrying scouts instead);
the T-1 would likely address these problems and fitting the tank more into the role of a mobile light tank with swimming & reconnaissance abilities.

inb4 the 76mm gun, we already heard enough about it, so a caveat: it's a (relatively) quick-firing assault gun, mainly lobbing HE-Frag for infantry support, 'potentially' up to 12km with extensive targeting data.
the 76mm gun was already deemed obsolete in the 60s (in the anti-tank role), but maybe at least it can penetrate an IFV from the front (with APHE) ?
edit: could also be a case of "if it works, don't fix it", if the tank is meant to do recon then any weapon is acceptable
