Low-stress plan: EPCOT treats in the afternoon, Hollywood Studios at night
We are staying off-site but close to the Skyliner resort area, and I want a day that feels fun instead of like a transportation puzzle.
The idea: spend late morning and afternoon at EPCOT for World Showcase treats and wandering, maybe ride one or two things if the waits are reasonable, then finish the night at Hollywood Studios for a nighttime show and some evening atmosphere. We're okay paying for Lightning Lane for a couple of things, but we don't want to run ourselves into the ground.
Constraints:
- We want an easy mid-afternoon break back at the room for about 60 to 90 minutes because the heat and crowds hit us hard.
- We have a rental car, but I'd rather not move it twice if that makes things more of a hassle than it helps.
- We're not early birds, but we can manage a not-too-painful start to the day.
What I'm asking: suggestions for the smoothest order and transportation. For example, would you do EPCOT first, come back for the break, then take the Skyliner to Studios? Or drive to Studios later and accept parking? Any tips on timing the break so we don't get stuck in long Skyliner lines at the worst time?
Bonus: if you have a favorite World Showcase snack loop that doesn't force you to zig-zag across the whole area, I'd love that too.
