Please stop quitting your meds just because you didn't lose ten pounds in your very first week

I am convinced that most people fail on Tirzepatide because they cannot handle how boring the actual process is. Everyone comes into this expecting to be a super responder who loses twenty pounds in a month without trying, and when that doesn't happen, they panic. My experience has been incredibly quiet and predictable. I don’t feel magical and I haven't had some massive overnight transformation, but the scale is still moving down every single week.

I see so many people in these groups who get frustrated and quit after twenty days because they aren't hitting some arbitrary number they saw an influencer post. They think the drug isn't working just because the weight loss isn't dramatic or fast enough to brag about. Why are we so obsessed with speed that we treat a perfectly functional, steady progress as a total failure?

I am trying to figure out how to pick my first vendor and I am stuck between three very different options. The first is a US-based research site that charges $300 for a few vials but they actually post recent Janoshik lab results. The second is a private Discord server someone linked me where the prices are cut in half, but the guy running it says they are still waiting on their testing to come back. The third is a massive overseas WhatsApp vendor that everyone seems to vouch for. They are by far the cheapest at around $80, but there is zero third-party testing available and it is purely based on community trust.

My issue is that even if a site posts a lab test, there is nothing stopping them from testing one good batch and shipping out cheap filler to everyone else. But on the flip side, just trusting a bunch of random vouches in a group chat feels incredibly risky too since half of them could just be paid shills or bots. How did you guys actually make your first choice when starting out? Did you just pay the massive premium for the perceived safety of domestic testing, or did you roll the dice on a cheap community favorite?
