I’m using a custom domain (familyname.com) purely for family email (me, my wife, child, and parents). No business activity, no transactions, nothing commercial. No website under the domain.

Google flagged the account as “commercial use” and forced an upgrade to Google Workspace. I submitted an appeal explaining it’s personal use only, but it was denied. Now they say the decision is final and there’s no further review.

I also can’t access real support unless I upgrade, and the AI chat just loops.

Has anyone here actually managed to:

- escalate this after an appeal was denied?

- get a manual review or reversal?

Or is this basically a dead end and I should stop trying?

Appreciate any real experiences.
