Threat Intel --> Consulting?

Hey all,

I just had a recruiter reach out about an opportunity at a large cyber security firm for a consulting position. I'm currently in Cyber Threat Intelligence for a fortune 20 company and love it. I'm curious on your thoughts on making that kind of a change.

My wife and I (with 2 kids) will be moving to be closer to family soon which will require a new job anyways, otherwise I've loved my current job.

I am 6 years into my career which has entailed a Masters degree in Information Security Policy from a prestigious university (don't think it matters but just in case), 3 years of CTI, and 2 years IT rotation program experience as a Data Center network engineer and cloud security API developer.

Is this a step that would be beneficial? I anticipate it would be a change to work/life balance as well?

Thanks!
