A 1 day foodie and Perfume Itinerary
I've been to Paris before and this sub has always been super helpful in figuring out what to do, so thought I'd contribute a tiny tip. There were HUGE lines for Cedric Grolet, but if you're willing to splurge, book afternoon tea at Le Meurice. You get to try tiny versions of many CG pastries, delicious savory options, AND you can include a pot of Alain Ducasse hot chocolate. Total win in my book because I got to try more pastries, sit in air conditioning-and no line! You do need to prebook but I booked the day before with no issues.
I took the advice of this sub and chose Jules and Jim, I was very happy with my tiny but super cute and well thought out room. Excellent ac, and an easy walk to my morning activity which was Carnavalet for a few hours of history, followed by a jaunt to Sens Unique for perfume sniffing. I then ubered over to MFK and Jovoy which were around the corner from Le Meurice for more perfume shopping, and then a late tea service.
Mfk has amazing customer service and gave me the flowers you can see in my pic! So nice, I expected maybe snobbishness but they were the opposite. Also Sens Unique has a great shop dog named Bisou who did in fact, give all the kisses.
