Need to move a nest
So I’m aware that it might be illegal to move bird nests.. not sure if it applies to every species. I work in an outdoor restaurant and we have a giant tent seasonally that we remove every May. Some birds have made a nest in one of the corners of the tent and the tent is due to come down in a few days. I want to move the nest and have a plan that I think will work (we have a birdhouse and a location near as it can be to the nest without being vulnerable or prone to traffic) but I’m not sure if we should do it tonight or in the morning. I’ve read that the middle of the afternoon is best but our restaurant will be packed at that time! All of us at this restaurant care about these birds being safe and surviving! Does anyone have any input that could help us?
