OmniCard (Fintech) Frozen My Account for 2 Years | Asked me to do Illegal KYC | Seeking Legal Advice for RBI Ombudsman Case

Hi everyone,
I am sharing my 2-year-long struggle with OmniCard (Eroute Technologies) to warn others and get some legal guidance.
The Horror Story:
Account Frozen: My account has been frozen for 2 years. I have sent over 50 emails, but they ignored me for months.
Illegal KYC Advice: When I struggled with my first account, their support team (on record via email) suggested I should create a second account using my family member's documents but with my own KYC details. This is a direct violation of RBI’s KYC and Anti-Money Laundering norms.
Internal Policy Games: When I asked for a refund of my subscription/funds, they initially said "Not Refundable" as per internal policy.
Current Status: After I finally filed a case with the RBI Integrated Ombudsman and National Consumer Helpline (NCH) on the 15th of last month, their Nodal Officer suddenly became active. Now, they are offering to waive small charges and refund the money, but they are ignoring the 2 years of mental harassment.
The Damage:
This long delay and constant ignoring caused me extreme mental agony. Out of frustration and being ignored for a year, I even lost my cool on calls, but anyone would after being treated like this by a financial institution.
I need help with:
Should I accept a simple refund, or should I fight for mental harassment compensation in the Consumer Court/RBI Ombudsman?
Since I have email proof of them suggesting "Illegal KYC," how much weight does this carry in the Ombudsman's hearing?
I want to close my account only AFTER receiving my full funds and compensation in my main bank account. Is this the right approach?
