I have a highly symptomatic 2cm sliding hiatal hernia with severe GERD and a lot of neck, shoulder blade, and below rib nerve pain.

Just curious if people that have had the surgery found that it reduced their nerve pain?

I am having a 270 toupet surgery in October. My quality of life is massively affected by my hiatal hernia and PPIs have barely helped at all! Feeling quite despairing about it all
