Help with SolidWorks
Hey guys!!
I am a first year aerospace student in the USA and have just gotten started with making a quadcopter drone as a little summer project. I just need some help with some surface modelling of NACA ducts on my drone body. I have tried all sorts of fixes but was just looking for some more expert help.
I originally used a online NACA duct shape calculator and imported the curve, converted the entities onto a tangent plane. I then proceeded to do a midplane shell and then did a revolve cut of the curve to get rid of the overhand, I then did a extruded cut to give shape, but it just was not correct.
I am just looking for any help, ideally a file when I can view the steps they did to make the duct and try to learn from them!
