I have shares in a small business that I own with a separate parent company. I have begun taking dividends towards the value of my shares that allow me to max out my 401K contribution for the year and receive an employer 25% match. How do I model that wealth transfer from my business value to 401K contribution? The transfer should take nine to ten years, possibly longer due to company retained earnings.
