Just passed my TEAS! Here is what worked for me (YouTube, Tutor, Practice Tests)
Hey everyone! I’m so excited to finally post here and say that I passed my TEAS exam! I am applying to an RN program, and getting this hurdle out of the way feels absolutely amazing.
I wanted to share a quick breakdown of my prep strategy in case it helps anyone else currently stressing out:
- Private Tutoring: Investing in a tutor was a game-changer for my weak spots. They helped me break down complex math steps and tricky science concepts that I just couldn't master on my own.
- YouTube Videos: Whenever I got sick of looking at textbooks, I turned to YouTube. Visual playlists made anatomy, physiology, and grammar rules actually stick.
- Practice Materials: Doing official style practice questions was crucial. It helped me get used to the wording of the questions and build up my test-day pacing.
To everyone still studying for their RN application: you can do this! Don't rely on just one study method—mix it up with videos, practice questions, and extra help if you need it.
Good luck to everyone testing soon! Let me know if you have any questions about how I tackled specific sections.
