Late 40s, Starting over in the environmental world

Hey all in the environmental world, I'm looking for advice. I'm in my late 40s, but am looking to start over in the environmental world. Some people have a midlife crisis and buy themselves a fancy car, me... I think I wanna switch and do the environmental thing. Undergrad in management & engineering, grad in education & international studies. And now I manage a pretty successful run specialty store (I kind of fell into it, but I'm also successful with it). The thing is is I wanted to do this as an undergrad, but my undergrad was painfully limited on environmental options. I took a handful of courses that were environmental-adjacent: Zoology, environmental bio, and ecology. I enjoyed them and did well. I'm horrible with IT, solid with finance, have management of people experience (lots), and like the env/earth sciences. I'm pretty late to the game, but I think less about retirement and more about a meaningful life. I do a lot for people now, but I feel like env work is where I wanna go. And I'm tired of not addressing that feeling. So... thoughts out there?
