Message to newcomers from someone who gave 6 attempts

Be mains ready, by this I mean you should be capable of writing tests in given time. This includes optional too. After this u can prepare for prelims.

If you fail prelims by a big margin, like 20-30+,it's okay to skip an attempt. Don't rush into giving another attempt consecutively. I regret not skipping my 2nd attempt.

HEALTH:

Focus on your health. Walk, do yoga, play badminton, anything. Just do some physical activity daily.

JOB:

If you don't have a strong graduation that can fetch you a job, try to look for a job after 2-3 failed attempts.

If you are not financially well off, it's better to start working sooner.

ATTITUDE:

Be positive no matter what. Don't dwell in the past or future. I couldn't do this ,maybe you can.

See your syllabus as small tasks to be done. Dont think I have to read the whole laxmikanth, just focus chapter by chapter. Small winnings give a positive reinforcement, keeping you stable throughout the journey.

Gave mains only once, couldn't clear. Now I feel that was my only chance to perform. Gone.

There are many problems I wanna share, but cant type much. The weight of disappointment makes me talk less now. Maybe someday when I can express better, I will.

Till then all the best.
