[Academic] TikTok and Cosmetic Procedures – Participant Call for (Australian Women Aged 17–29)
We are inviting Australian women aged 17 to 29 to take part in an online psychology study exploring how young women respond to cosmetic procedure content on TikTok. The study is part of a fourth-year Honours research project in psychology.
You will be asked to watch a short series of videos and answer questions about your thoughts and perceptions of the content. Participation takes approximately 30 minutes and is completed entirely online.
We are particularly interested in understanding how young women think about and interpret different types of cosmetic procedure content on TikTok. Findings may provide insight into the information provided in these types of videos how such platforms can improve content policy.
Participation is voluntary and confidential. Participants will be entered into a draw to win a $50 gift card as a thank you for their time.
